I am a designer and writer living in the small village of Witcham in Cambridgeshire. I’m lucky enough to work from home and spend my days mostly designing websites and creating content for them, although I do get out to the city sometimes, even ones in different countries. I have always lived in the country and love watching the seasons unfold and hunting the stories that the land holds. So The Spiral is a site for me to blather on about the patch of land I live in, review books that I feel have a place in a collection on countryside matters (both old and new). There are also reviews of films, music and TV shows and anything else that is of interest, hopefully it will be fun, I don’t pretend to be an expert and all the views are my own. So there.
